The Beginning

Tomorrow is my last exam and then I have a few days to relax before the mayhem that is uni begins once more. Although, the mayhem has sort of already begun. The student union's magazine I help edit has already released an issue and I've also been and in and out of uni to pick up essays, do exams and see people.

I'm looking forward to the start of classes though. I miss my new friends... I need girly gossip time again! I miss sitting in the bar in the union after lectures, I miss passing people I know in the street and saying hi or smiling, or simply seeing a face I recognise. I miss giggling at the back row of lectures at the stupidity of certain lecturers one week, and the next, listening avidly in the front row to another. Yes, it will be mayhem again, but mayhem that I love!

I'm not convinced about my profile picture. I found it on the internet somewhere (Google is my friend) and edited the hair from blonde to brown, but I think it's obv. Plus I'd like to make my own rather than steal someone else's work. But it will do for now, until I have enough time to draw my own. [edit 2012: removed picture, wasn't mine, no source and didn't ask permission to edit, sorry if I pissed anyone off... silly little 1st year me]

I have a plan for this blog. It will contain a bit about my life, serve as a place to rant when on-one will listen to me, and be the sole location of my creative work. I have a bit of a creative side that is often neglected and I intend to let it loose from time to time on here. I'm not saying that I'm a fantastic artist/writer/designer, far from it! But I have ideas, and some of them do make it to life.
